Samsung has been succeeded release the Galaxy Note and Note II phablet, evidently it responded by his rivals which it ‘talkative’ following Samsung’s footsteps. Well, if previously we’ve offered a variety of new phablet, one of them is the HTC J Butterfly, in this moment we will see a similar phablet device.

This table comes from Chinese handset manufacturer, the ZTE, which reportedly ready to introduce the ZTE U887, which was remembered as phablet that will target the lower to middle segment class.

Phablet ZTE U887, as quoted from Engadget, had been launched in conjunction with ZTE Nubia Z5 on Friday, December 21st, 2012 several days ago in China.

ZTE U887 had been coming with white and black color variants, were marketed with 5-inch screen display 480 x 800 pixels, 1.2 GHz MT6577  dual-core processors , 512 MB RAM, a dual-band GSM and CDMA, as well as 5 megapixel camera equipped.

Seeing from the ZTE U887 specs which is far below the Nubia Z5 that ready to come with a 13 megapixel camera, it seems reasonable if ZTE U887 was favored as a phablet for entry-level user class.
