ZTE has big plans will throw their primary business as a telecommunications equipment manufacturer also for the high class segment of the high-tech Smartphone, where previously the focus originally targeted to flood the market with low cost mobile phone class (low-end) for the folk.
Reportedly this year ZTE will introduce two versions of the newest big Smartphone (Phablet) that has been made, It is the ZTE Grand Memo and Grand Mozilla.
“We want to increase Smartphone sales percentage of upper middle class and it’s our target, we expect to sell over 50 million Smartphones in 2013,” according to Lu Qianhao, head of ZTE’s device strategy, in an interview with Reuters
Grand Memo reportedly will be equipped with very capable specs for high class Smartphone. It will use Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system, 5.7-inch 720p resolution screen display, 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processors, 13-megapixel camera.
While Smartphones that named as Grand Mozilla, mentioned will be the first-class mobile phone which is fully supported by a sophisticated operating system made by the browser vendor of Mozilla Firefox. For the clarity about the price and the official specs of the ZTE Grand Memo and Grand Mozilla is still an evolving rumor.
