Referring to the source of the rumor Sony Ericsson Xperia Duo rumored will be likely using A9500 NovaThor chipset, which combines core Cortex A9 with the Mali-400 GPU. The chipset is basically same as Samsung i9100 Galaxy S II used, but the Xperia Duo CPU even higher, which is 1.4 GHz.
Based on other rumors Sony Xperia Duo reportedly will be packaged with Qualcomm MSM8260 Snapdragon chipset, which is also used by HTC Sensation.
And, the good news is, Sony Xperia Duo at least would be have an overclocked version CPUs from one of the leading chipset later.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Duo will come with 4.5-inch QHD display screen which has been pinned Mobile Bravia Engine technology. A smartphone with Android Gingerbread platform is also said to be has 12 MP camera and powered with 2500 mAh battery.
